Weight Watchers Diet

I accompanied my friend to a weight watchers meeting and that is when I joined. The lady was very friendly and welcoming. I bought a starter pack and fell in love with the structure and method of points. This was my first real attempt at self tracking. I went to Ice land and stocked up on weight watchers frozen meals ( and a pack of kit kat chocolates). I loved my diary. I had no problems with this diet as I was started  on about 20 points and it was very generous.

On my first weigh in I lost 2kgs. I was chuffed because it had been easy. I kept at it for 2 months. At first I skipped a meeting, then slowly the novelty wore off then stopped the diet after 4 months. I lost a grand total of a 8kgs.

Conclusion

It was easy diet to follow and track my food. I loved going for meetings and loved the weigh ins. The weight came off steadily and was never really hungry on it.

Would I do it again?

YES

  2. This is a comment my friend on myfitnesspal wrote to me..Just read your blog. I tried weight watchers too and it worked for a while but then I was going and paying £5 a week but not losing weight, I left weight watchers in April 2012 and joined MFP and lost a further 25lb as it now stands. MFP and continuous tracking is the only method I have found to keep off the weight I have lost. It's really a battle and the heavier you have been in the past, the harder it is I think. At my heaviest I was 15 stone 7lbs and now I am 11 stone 12. Keeping it off and losing more is a constant battle though and I have been mostly the same weight for about a year now. I would like to get down to 10stone (I am only 5'2") but I'm not sure if I'll ever get there. I am convinced that making permanent changes and constantly pulling yourself back when you overindulge or do not exercise for a while is key. Best of luck with everything and thanks for all your support to me.
